Our Mission

The DRIVE-IN Film Festival is a creative not-for-profit organization with a mission to bring fresh innovative films to as many audiences as possible, and highlight the glory of an American tradition--the local Drive-In.

Founder and Director

C.C. Webster

As an MFA graduate of the Columbia University School of the Arts, C.C. Webster has written, directed, and produced award-winning films that have played over fifty festivals internationally. Working with Lifetime, she recently completed her latest film, CIVIL WAR, a gripping tale of a group of adolescent girls on a field trip to Gettysburg, and the battle between them—-the real, “mean girls.”

Growing up in small town America, with two Drive-In theaters within a mile of her house, C.C. has never forgotten the experiences and inspiration of those summer nights, usually in the station wagon with as many cousins stuffed in the back as possible, watching a double feature.

Using her connections and resources as a filmmaker, she hopes to bring fresh films to small towns across America, and support and promote the Drive-In theaters and the iconic experience they can provide to the community.
